Welcome to IncluLearn! By using our platform, you agree to these terms which reflect our commitment to accessibility, usability, and ethical educational practices for inclusive learning.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By using IncluLearn, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users, including students, educators, guardians, and administrators.

2 Purpose and Scope

IncluLearn is developed to:

  • Provide an inclusive, adaptive learning environment aligned with the Inclusive Education Act (RA 11650)
  • Offer accessibility features (e.g., text-to-speech, dyslexia-friendly fonts, visual numeracy aids) to accommodate diverse learning needs, as validated through our participatory design process and ISO/IEC 25010:2011 compliance testing
  • Enable educators and guardians to monitor student progress via dashboards and analytics

Limitations:

  • IncluLearn does not diagnose or replace professional interventions for learning disabilities
  • The platform's effectiveness may vary based on individual user needs and engagement levels

3 Eligibility and Account Creation

Age Requirement: Users must be at least 5 years old to create an account. Guardians or educators must supervise children under 13.

Accurate Information: Users must provide truthful details during registration (e.g., role: student, teacher, guardian).

Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their login credentials.

4 Accessibility and Inclusivity Commitments

WCAG Compliance: The platform adheres to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) to ensure usability for neurodivergent learners.

Feedback Mechanism: Users may report accessibility barriers via the "Help & Feedback" portal. Our team will prioritize resolving issues within 7 business days.

No Discrimination: The platform prohibits misuse of its features to exclude or marginalize users based on learning abilities.

5 User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for non-educational purposes (e.g., spamming, unauthorized data collection)
  • Modify or distribute platform content without permission
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or disrupt system functionality

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

6 Intellectual Property

All content, features, and code are owned by the IncluLearn development team and protected under Philippine copyright laws.

Educators and guardians may upload materials (e.g., PDFs, assignments) for adaptive processing via our auto-modification engine. By uploading content, users grant IncluLearn a non-exclusive license to process and display materials for educational purposes.

7 Data Privacy and Security

Compliance: IncluLearn follows ISO/IEC 25010:2011 standards for data security and privacy. Student performance data is encrypted and stored securely via AWS cloud hosting.

Guardian Consent: Guardians must consent to data collection for minors under 13.

Data Usage: Collected data (e.g., assessment results, progress metrics) is used solely to improve user experience and generate educator dashboards.

8 Limitation of Liability

IncluLearn is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. The development team is not liable for:

  • Interruptions in service due to technical failures beyond our control
  • Outcomes related to student learning or engagement, as these depend on factors outside the platform's scope (e.g., teaching methods, home environment)

In no event shall the team be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform. Users may request account deletion via the "Contact Us" form.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bulacan, Philippines.

11 Amendments

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or research findings. Updates will be posted on the platform with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
